EUREKA Baby Grinder

Grinding by hand has a rhythm of its own, one that slows the morning down in the right way. The slim body closes into your palm, the flared jar follows the shape of your hand and with every turn of the crank, designed to ask very little effort, the fragrance of the opening beans rises. Baby is Eureka's first hand grinder and puts the house's quality right at your fingertips, in 760 grams.

Inside are 48 mm conical burrs with Gold Energy treatment, developed by Eureka with Italmill to extend their life by about 50% compared with standard hardened steel. You adjust the grind from the top, in steps of 47 microns each. Eureka's guide walks you through it, from the zero point (where the burrs touch) to the steps suggested for each method, from espresso and moka to V60 and French press.

The hopper holds 40 g of beans, enough for a couple of cups. Almost nothing stays between the burrs, since retention is close to zero. Baby also works with the Eureka dosing cup, which takes the grounds straight to your portafilter.

A grinder made to be held, for anyone who wants the first coffee of the day to begin with a slow gesture.
